At Hepner Consulting,

giving back isn’t a corporate checkbox — it’s personal.

Our founder, Nate Hepner, was raised Southern Baptist and later broadened his faith through exploration. During his time in the military, he trained as an infantryman and found beauty in the diversity of belief, culture, and community. Each Sunday during basic training, instead of attending a single denomination on the installation, he visited a different church — experiencing the unity that underlies so many ways of worship. Through that journey, one truth stayed constant: the greatest joy comes from serving others.

That conviction shaped Nate and he shaped Hepner Consulting’s mission around it. Every skill we’ve been given is a gift, and we believe it’s meant to be used in service of others. As his companies grew, he recognized that many nonprofits — the organizations doing the most good — often carry the heaviest IT burdens. Competing firms see that as a market opportunity. Nate see it as a calling.

When Nate finds a nonprofits that align with Hepner Consulting’s values — organizations that serve with integrity, compassion, and purpose — we provide 100% of their IT support, development, and hosting at No Cost. We donate our time, talent, and infrastructure so that their financial resources can stay focused on their mission, not maintenance. This is our act of service, and our way of multiplying the good already happening in the world.

We also support local arts, culture, and community events, because creativity and connection are as vital to the human spirit as technology is to modern life. Whether it’s a local performance, a charity run, or a fantasy ball that brings people together, we help power the events that make our communities vibrant.

Below you’ll find some of the organizations and events we proudly support, each with a link to learn more about their incredible work. If you're a local nonprofit or community event don’t hesitate to reach out to Nate.

The Mary Across America

Our purpose is to advance a Catholic Lay movement to promote awareness of the Blessed Virgin Mary’s appearance in Champion, Wisconsin, and to spread the message of her healing intercession and desire to lead souls to her Son Jesus in these times of chaos and unrest as we journey through our days of earthly exile.
